Fore!!!!!!!!!!!
I think I finally found a sport that I'm actually reasonably good at! All my friends play golf. They roped me into playing and I'm actually not remotely as bad as I thought I would be. I've actually had a couple of golf pros tell me that I'm doing really well for having only played for a week. It's pretty cool since I've never been even remotely athletic. I have to admit though, I'm addicted. I played my first game last Friday. I've played twice since then and I'm playing again Saturday. I even bought my own clubs and shoes and ALL the golf stuff. I LOVE it!

Edamame, Stanley, Work & Weight loss
Edamame is yummy. Most people think I'm weird 'cause I eat it with cheese & hot sauce on it. Technically I guess that is weird. But it's tasty weird!
Stanley comes home from the dog whisperer tomorrow. I'll be happy to have him home. I can't believe it, but I miss the heavy breathing in my ear at 7am every day.
Work is drama city. I am so sick of high school type BS. I didn't like high school when I was IN high school! For the love of all that's holy GROW UP! (fortunately none of my employees have the blog addy)
I feel like I'm back on track with the weight loss. I'm back to tracking & exercising every day. Interestingly it's almost like blowing it off for a couple of weeks has strengthened my resolve and helped me refocus. Who'd a thunk it?

Locals react to deadly shooting at V.B. pizza shop
My niece was involved in an armed robbery Saturday night. She was about 4 feet away from the bad guy when her boss shot him. Fortunately, she's ok. She's kept her head about her and seems to be dealing with the situation well. We're ridiculously proud of the maturity she's shown throughout this and VBPD apparently thinks she's hysterical (I do too). I see a lot of myself in her which scares me sometimes, but it's times like this that I'm so thankful that she's like me. Not that I'm even implying that I would have dealt with the situation as well as she did, but I'm proud of her nonetheless. She's a good kid and whip smart. I think the world is in trouble!
